After six years of shooting weddings here are some of our favourite BC wedding venues in Squamish, Whistler and Pemberton. These areas can give your guests the fun of a weekend trip away without the costs of a full destination wedding. Plus the mountain backdrops in the Sea to Sky are always incredible.

Choosing a venue that you love is so important because it will set the scene and the backdrop for all your photos! Some venues have great areas where you can get ready, do your portraits and wedding party photos, ceremony and reception all in one place. While others you may need to consider what else is near by if you'll want to get ready at home, book an airbnb, or go to another location for photos.

Squamish, BC

North Arm Farm | Pemberton, BC

Riverlands Red Barn | Pemberton, BC

Another Pemberton venue with stunning mountain views. The ceremony spot faces the mountains, with the classic red barn in the background as you walk down the aisle. Ancient Cedars Lodge | Pemberton, BC

Ancient Cedars Lodge is the perfect spot for an intimate wedding. The lodge is available for some of your guests to stay the night and forested yard and deck are so beautiful. The ceremony space also includes a triangular arch and wooden benches.

Dreamcatcher Meadows | Squamish, BC

Another beautiful spot, Dreamcatcher Meadows has a lovely spot along the river for an outdoor ceremony. Follow it up with your dinner reception under their open sided barn.

Nita Lake Lodge | Whistler, BC

Nita Lake Lodge is a classic for Whistler Weddings. Again multiple ceremony location options with gorgeous architecture or views of the lake. Bonus that friends and family can easily stay the night at the hotel!

Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre | Whistler, BC

The SLCC is a stunning space for your wedding and reception! The room pictured below was the Istken Hall, but they also have the Great Hall available for ceremonies. As well as the Mezzanine Patio also pictured. Lots of options for indoor or outdoor ceremonies depending on the season. Whistler of course has plenty of incredible spots for your portraits and wedding party photos to get the big mountain views!

Sea to Sky Gondola | Squamish, BC

Take the gondolas up into the mountains! There are a few different ceremony spot options depending on guest numbers and weather. As well as beautiful spots for photos in the forest, suspension bridge and different decks. Followed up by an indoor reception!

Sitka Farms | Squamish, BC

This beautiful venue is located in the Squamish Valley. Two level barn for ceremonies or receptions, ceremony spots in the forest, mountain views and lots of animal friends! The farm has goats, highland cows and and horses! They also now have a cute tiny house if you want to stay the night!
